New Delhi, May 7 (ANI): Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on May 07 Tuesday said that as ‘health’ is a state subject, it is primarily the responsibility of state governments to provide and ensure treatment of victims of accidents in the hospitals.
In a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha, Azad said the Union Government has enacted the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010, which makes provision for minimum standards of facilities, services and minimum requirement of personnel for registration and regulation of the Clinical establishments. |
