Trauma Centre at SSL to Become Functional by September

Varanasi: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) administration had decided to start the trauma centre of Sir SundarLal (SSL) Hospital phase-wise in September. Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS-BHU) director RG Singh said: "We will be starting the trauma centre in phases as soon as the work gets completed by the second or third week of September." In order to save the life of critical patients and reduce the delay in admitting them, the upcoming trauma centre will have a room near the entrance of the building where the patient's condition and the degree of seriousness would be decided.
