Bangladesh has launched three digit short code 999 as national help desk service to ensure emergency response to fulfill citizen’s needs. \r\n \r\nInformation and Communication technology (ICT) Division has developed apps and website under its pilot programme to introduce the national help desk service for improving overall citizen services by providing emergency response, an official release said on Thursday.
\r\nUnder the national help desk service, police, fire services and ambulance services will be given in case of any emergency needs. Services of Bangladesh Police, Department of Fire Service and Civil Defense and Plus one, a private organisation, will be ensured through the services. |
