Roxas City: Residents in the island and coastal barangays are being conducted with storm surge and evacuation simulation drill.
\r\nThe activity aims to provide knowledge and skills on the residents on what to do in times of disasters and emergencies, especially storm surge resulting from typhoons. Recently, 4 island barangays in Capiz, namely Bantigue and Butacal in Panay town as well as in Guba and Manapao in Pontevedra were oriented about the hazards due to storm surge and how they would respond to such emergency situation. |
