Sir: The inauguration of the state-of-the-art emergency ward at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) is the evidence that the government is paying attention to the healthcare of the public. This step would help provide modern and effective emergency services and reduce health woes of the public.
\r\nAt present, the emergency ward comprises of 100 beds, but as per the plan soon 100 more beds will be added. Whatever has been done is good but more needs to be done. |
