Beijing: On July 9, a suburban campus of the Beijing Haidian Church held an emergency-medical-aid themed health public lecture for its congregations. Speedway Aid Network, a Non-governmental aid organization, was the main speaker for this event. \r\nCombined with the handbook for first-aiders of the Red Cross Society of China, the lecturer explained and directed several emergency aid projects including CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation), binding up traumas, handling burns and scalds, stanching bleeding and airway obstruction rescue with the reference to a large number of emergency aid practice sessions. The trainees benefited a lot from the lecture. |
