Thiruvananthapuram: The first railway emergency unit in the State as part of Indian Railway’s emergency medical service project will be opened at the Thiruvananthapuram Central railway station. Railway Divisional Manager Sunil Bajpai will inaugurate the unit, which has been set up by the emergency department of PRS Hospital, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday (March 30). \r\nThe unit will be handling all medical emergencies of railway passengers. The unit, which has all the necessary equipment and medical supply, will have qualified paramedical staff. |
