Lucknow: People would be able to learn expert method to handle emergency situations when a person suffers heart attacks. SGPGI has chalked out a 3-day course in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) -- the emergency management needed to save a person who suffers heart attack. Initially, the course would be for doctors, nurses and paramedical staff, but later a module would be prepared for general public as well. The course would be moderated by department of anaesthesiology which conducted a workshop with SGPGI doctors and nurses. |
