Phuket: Phuket airport will conduct a full-scale emergency drill on Thursday(September 10) to help reduce loss of life and damage in the event of an aircraft accident. Airport director Monruedee Ketphan said on Tuesday(September 08) that aircraftaccidents in the past had caused serious damage, both direct and indirect, to the aircraft and passengers. \r\nEmergency drills were essentialto ensure rescue teams reacted swiftly and appropriately to reduce possible injuries, loss of life and damage to the aircraft. |
