Beijing: The September 3rd parade is a huge event. And Beijing\'s environmental sanitation, transport and medical departments are working to minimize the inconvenience to the public. Local authorities have added 96 temporary public toilets around the parade area. 22 street sweeper trucks will help keep things clean. \r\nMeanwhile, transport departments have set up free parking lots along Chang\'an Avenue, the main parade area. Staff will be on hand to manage things. The city has also set up 24-hour emergency medical stations. Ambulances and emergency medical teams will be on standby. |
