Nashik: The Maharashtra Emergency Medical Services (MEMS) would roll out additional ambulances to help patients and deal with crisis during the KumbhMela. The Nashik zone has 46 ambulances and additional vehicles would be called from neighbouring districts to meet the requirement of the large number of pilgrims expected to visit the city and Trimbakeshwar. \r\n There are plans to call about 80 ambulances to deal with emergencies that might arise during the mega religious congregation scheduled to begin next week. The number of ambulances may increase depending upon the need, said an official from the civil hospital.
