Full-fledged superspecialty services in cardiology and trauma care will soon become a reality at the District General Hospital with the inauguration of construction work to house the Cathlab facilities.The hospital had been running OP services in cardiology for the past six months without any other facility or emergency care.
The General Hospital will also have a new facility termed Bhumika to deal with problems of women and children who had met with abuse. Besides, the ongoing palliative care would also get a new building, the construction for which is to begin on May 07. |
