National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) - a subsidiary of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Islamabad, has started 2-day training workshop for principals of partner schools of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) and staff members from August 20. \r\nAccording to a spokesman of Punjab Education Foundation, NIDM will impart hands-on training on disaster and emergency preparedness related topics. NIDM is imparting this training under a UN project \"School Safety Plan\" for principals and teachers of educational institutions for which it has also engaged experts from private sector and universities. |
