Kakkanad, Kerala: The ambulances in the city will be available within seconds by dialling 102, as the district administration’s dream project to bring the ambulance service under one umbrella is all set to be launched on September 1. \r\nThe project is going to be implemented in the district in association with the Active Network Group of Emergency Life Savers (ANGELS). The system is designed to make ambulances available within a 5 km radius of the place where the patients are located. For the project, the district administration has prepared a database of around 800 ambulances in the city. “To provide ambulance services in an emergency manner, one should come forward to be a part of it. |
