Islamabad: The Red Cross Society of China will support the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in rescue and emergency ambulance services. The two societies formalised a commitment to this effect by signing an MoU for future cooperation here on June 19.
The signing ceremony was held at the PRCS National Headquarters, which was visited by a high-level delegation of the China Red Cross under the leadership of the society’s vice president in Beijing Branch, Liu Na. The vice president appreciated the steps being taken by PRCS and said, the Chinese Red Cross is keen to further increase cooperation with PRCS in disaster management, health services and capacity building programmes. |
