A sign language workshop for Ministry of Interior officials concluded on June 11. The training programme arranged by the National Command Centre was conducted in association with the Qatari Centre of Social Cultural for the Deaf for 4 months. Around 19 men and women NCC officers attended the training programme.
“The main objective of the programme was to improve the efficiency of emergency services in 999 and emergency service for the deaf in 992. Our ambition is to ensure the safety and security of everyone in the community.” |
