ZHL Starts FRP Programs in Odisha to Empower Denizens to Act as a First Responder during Medical Emergencies

Bhubaneswar: Dial 108 for  Ambulance First Responders has set aim to empower all Indians to act as a first responder in the event of medical emergencies by providing them with training in First Aid and Basic Life Support techniques.  Ziqitza Health Care Ltd. (ZHL) had organised the workshop on April 29 at Govindpur High School where about 170 students and 12 teachers were trained.

FRP workshops are organized by trained doctors/medical professionals from the Life supporters Institute of Health Science (LIHS), the training partner of ZHL. Mr Sabyasachi Biswal Project head Odisha said, “In most cases people want to help but do not know how to and might even complicate the situation further by providing wrong assistance to the victim. By providing training in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS), we want to send message to Dial 108 for Ambulance.”
