Kathmandu: The emergency ward of Bir Hospital was without a single doctor for 12 hours on March 01 Saturday night.
Two paramedics took charge of the ward from 9 pm Saturday to 9 am Sunday as unit doctors and volunteers remained absent.
The country’s oldest hospital is supposed to have two doctors and two paramedics on duty at all times. |
