Ho Chi Minh City: Hua Ngoc Thuan, Deputy Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, has just signed a decision to set up an emergency medical center in the City.
The Emergency 115 Center, a state-run medical clinic, is located on 266 Ly Thuong Kiet Street in District 10 in Trung Vuong Hospital. The Center will co-ordinate emergency activities outside of hospitals in the City as well as provide first-aid to patients, take them to the nearest hospitals for further treatment and conduct medical research.
The project will be in 2 phases. In the first phase, the City will build the Center and establish 6 other emergency units in the Saigon General Hospital, and the General Hospitals in Districts 7, Hoc Mon, Thu Duc and Binh Tan. |
