Zamboanga: Three public hospitals in Zamboanga City had been placed by the Department of Health (DOH) on code white alert in time for the Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve revelry, a health official reported December 23 Monday.
Placed on code white alert are the Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC), Labuan Public Hospital (LPH), and the Mindanao Central Sanitarium.The ZCMC is located in Sta. Catalina; LPH is in the village of Labuan; and the Mindanao Central Sanitarium is located in Pasobolong.
ZCMC Chief of Hospitals Dr. Romeo Ong said the code white alert took effect December 23 Monday and will be until January 2, 2014.Ong said all hospital personnel, including doctors, nurses and support staffs, are on call under the code white alert status. |
