Dubai: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) and Dubai Police (DP) successfully performed a mock drill of a plane falling over power grid in Dubai. This drill, which was initiated by Dewa with the participation from Dubai Police, Civil Defence, Dubai Ambulance, and Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) aimed to raise readiness to face and deal with contingencies and crises that might occur. The drill focused on the successful response to contingencies and crises in all aspects.
It also included the tracks of integrated management of contingencies and crises, evaluating infrastructures during emergencies, building up response capabilities, preparing media strategy for crises management and strategic planning. |
