Dhaka: Following a 2-day stand-off between the students and staff of Sir Salimullah Medical College Mitford Hospital, the college in the capital was declared closed on December 11 for an indefinite period.
The institution will not open “until the situation becomes normal”, Principal Prof Dilip Kumar Dhar told journalists.
He also asked all the residential students to leave the campus by 7:00am December 12. |
