Dubai: Dubai: Volunteers, police, the Civil Defence, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services and Al Ahli Sports Club representatives took part in an emergency drill on October 7 Monday morning to test the club’s response plans for managing a critical incident at its stadium.
The drill simulated an explosion, fire and a mass-casualty scenario and tested evacuation procedures, emergency medical responses and communication and coordination among officials and agencies.
Firefighters, police and ambulance personnel helped two ‘victims’ of a mock explosion while personnel from Dubai Police’s Department of Emergency and Security of Establishments looked on. |
