Pokhara: Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara on September 26 closed its emergency services citing technical problem in the hospital’s computer server.
Chief of the Administration Department Dr Anirban Bakchi said, “The hospital is unable to provide bills of admitted patients and those getting discharged due to server failure. Due to this glitch, we have also been unable to provide medicine to patients.” Hence, the hospital had no option but to halt services until the problem is fixed. Dr Bakchi said the server problem occurred suddenly , due to which they have not been able to see the records of the patients. |
