Bangalore: The State government will provide back-up support to GVK-Emergency Medical Research Institute (EMRI), which runs Arogya Kavacha (108 ambulance service), to ensure medical services are not disrupted by the workers’ strike.
The Health and Family Welfare Department has asked GVK-EMRI to use the services of government paramedical staff and ensure the ambulance service is no disrupted. For this purpose, GVK-EMRI would have to coordinate with the respective deputy commissioners, district health and family welfare officers and surgeons. |
