Bhopal: Training in auxiliary trauma life support was imparted to reduce disability and deaths in road accidents by orthopedics department of Gandhi Medical College here on July25. The training was imparted 150 participants under the guidance of Director of BTLS course and orthopedic Dr Sanjeev Gaur.
Participants were trained in all aspects of first aid through lectures, display of various techniques on models and dramatic enactment of various accident scenes. These trainers will impart training along with senior doctors to students of schools and colleges of Bhopal. Objective of the training is saving lives in accidents through first aid with presence of trained persons at the spot. First course in the series of training was started on February 27, in which 100 trainees participated. |
