Melaka: The health ministry is studying the need to install dashboard cameras in ambulances in order to obtain video recordings of road users who use the emergency lane and obstruct the vehicles’ routes during an emergency.
\r\nHealth deputy director-general (Medical) Dr S Jeyaindran said the initiative was taken in light of the behaviour of some selfish drivers that prevented healthcare personnel from providing emergency paramedic treatment to victims as soon as possible. |
