Chennai: Tamil Nadu Government on July 10 Wednesday allocated a sum of over Rs 43 crore for the health department. The funds will be used towards procuring modern equipment and developing other infrastructure in various hospitals, a government release here said.
Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa allocated Rs 18.20 crore for 55 integrated child and maternal care centres, Rs 10 crore for government medical college hospitals and government hospitals and Rs 15.19 crore towards buying 116 new ambulance vehicles, it said. |
