Ambulance services will no longer be offered free of cost in the emirate as Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) starts implementing a self-funding programme to cover basic operational costs. \r\nPatients will be able to use their insurance cards to pay for the service. However, those without insurance will be given the service free of cost on a humanitarian basis until required. The first phase of the initiative will cover all Dubai residents and will later be extended to include visitors to Dubai as well. |
