The “Good Samaritan Bill” proposed to be tabled in the winter session of Madhya Pradesh Assembly provides harsh penal measures against doctors and clinics those turn away accident victims without treatment, sources said on October 4.
\r\nThe punitive measures provided in the bill included cancellation of license of erring hospital, clinics and doctors and imposition of a fine of `10 lakhs for the medical facilities and `5 lakhs for the doctors concerned. |
