Visakhapatnam: The TDP government is to set up 19 trauma care centres (TCCs) in the state. Andhra Pradesh already has 13 TCCs. The new centres are being set up with the aim of reducing the rate of fatality in road accidents to 15% in the next four years. As against the national average of 14.9%, the fatality rate in AP is as high as 22%. |
