Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has strengthened the Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) by approving establishment of 9 divisional Urban Search & Rescue (USAR) teams and Rescue 1122 in 62 tehsils of Punjab in the current fiscal year. \r\nThe Punjab home secretary notified a committee to purchase latest machinery and equipment for the USAR teams in Lahore and Rawalpindi. Deputy Director (Finance) Rescue 1122 Naeem Mukhtar has been entrusted the additional responsibility till June 2016, as deputy director (procurement) in order to complete the project well in time. |
