Hafizabad: Urban research rescue teams are being established in nine divisional headquarters of the Punjab province for ensuring rescue operations according to international standards, Rescue 1122 said. \r\nAddressing the rescuers at its District Headquarters, Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) DG Brig (r) Dr Arshad Zia said that 1,350 more rescuers are being recruited in the Punjab and rescue services would be started in 62 tehsils of the province soon. In this connection, the Punjab government had released RS2 billion, he added. He further said that 62 ambulances were being procured for better facilities. |
