Sri Lanka Navy on the request of Governor of the Northern Province has built an ambulance water craft for the benefit of the people living in the northern islands off the Jaffna peninsula. The Secretary to the Ministry of Defense Karunasena Hettiarachchi on Monday (October 05) handed over the Navy ambulance water craft to President Maithripala Sirisena at a ceremony in Kilinochchi. \r\nThe President in turn handed over the craft to the Director for Health Services of Northern Province who accepted the craft on behalf of the Governor of the Northern Province. |
