A nuclear emergency medical rescue drill codenamed \"Medical Service Force – 2015C\" was held in July at a training base of the PLA Academy of Military Medical Sciences (AMMS). This is the first full-element drill held by the PLA\'s nuclear emergency medical rescue force at a training base. \r\nAs of 2015, China has more than 50 nuclear power generating units including both in operation and under construction with its total capacity ranking the fourth place in the world. It is critical and of great significance for China to strengthen its nuclear emergency medical rescue capability. |
