Cordillera Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council Chair and Office of Civil Defense Director Andrew Alex Uy, stressed this in a kapihan media forum here on July 1 the launching the National Disaster Consciousness Month. Uy emphasized the need to think outside the box, wherein aside from the conventional method there is a need to bring in improvements, creativity and innovations in disaster prevention and disaster preparedness as it could spell a difference in reducing casualty when disaster strikes.
