Manipal Hospitals, in partnership with AltaCop Technologies, launched a MediAlert device and a Mobile app here on June 25, which will ensure that prompt medical assistance is provided when people encounter a medical emergency outside the hospital premises.The device and the application were launched by veteran actor Nana Patekar. \r\nSpeaking on the occasion, Dr Sekhar Salkar, Chief of Clinical Services and HOD Oncology Department at Manipal Hospitals, Goa, said, \"MediAlert would be, most useful and ideal for the elderly couples staying alone, and domestic and international tourists in Goa. |
