Srinagar: Minister for Health and Medical Education Ch Lal Singh on May 07 said the government is taking various steps for revival of health sector in the state which includes deployment of manpower in remote areas and procurement of ASL (Advanced Life Support System) ambulances.
Various decisions were taken in the meeting for further improvement of healthcare sector in the state.Ch. Lal Singh informed that incentives for doctors working in remote areas would be increased to ensure parity between healthcare facilities in the remote and far-off areas.
The Minister also informed that 8 advanced life support system ambulances (4 each in Srinagar and Jammu) shall be procured during the current financial year which can be provided to the needy by just dialing number 108. |
