Singapore: The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) unveiled its new work-plan for 2015/2016 at ITE East on Friday (Apr 17) that brings community involvement and technological innovations to the fore.
Under the Save-a-Life initiative, SCDF will roll out an installation of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in six constituencies across the island - Bedok, Bukit Panjang, Choa Chu Kang, Pasir Ris West, Radin Mas and Tampines West - from June 2015. One AED will be installed in every two HDB blocks for ease of access by community volunteers. |
