The Saudi Shura Council on 10 February approved a draft law for better and faster first aid services. \r\n
Yahya Al-Samaan, assistant president of the Council, said the law contains 23 articles.The law proposes making available education and training in first aid service as well as carrying out awareness programs among members of society on various aspects of first aid service and encourage them to participate in it.

The draft law also contains punitive measures against those who violate the regulations so as to ensure the quality of service and safety of accident victims.
