Operators of emergency services ambulances must ensure their vehicles are properly licensed with the Metropolitan Police Bureau\'s traffic division, or be subject to legal action, Pol Maj Gen Adul Narongsak, Metropolitan Police deputy chief in charge of the city\'s traffic, warned on 16 December.

Pol Maj Gen Adul said many ambulances operating in the city and taking people who are ill or injured to hospital are not licensed, causing safety problems for other road users and for patients.
