Hospitals and health development centers nationwide will be on Code White alert starting Friday, Oct. 31, for Undas (All Saints\' and All Souls\' Days), the Department of Health said on October 30 Thursday. \r\nState-run Philippine Information Agency said the Code White alert will be until Nov. 3, Monday, to prepare for any eventuality or health-related incident. \r\nActing DOH Secretary Janette Garin said a Code White Alert is declared \"when there is a mass gathering or national event and there is a possibility of emergency conditions that may need immediate medical attention.” |
