AIIMS will now be able to better serve the humungous crowd of patients with a self-sufficient expanded trauma centre as the DDA in its Board meeting headed by the Lieutenant-Governor on August 21 approved its request and allotted 6.8 hectares of land adjacent to the existing trauma centre. \r\nFollowing this, an inspection team comprising senior officers of the planning department visited the site and found that 656 trees cover the area of which 515 are kikar or Acacia trees. |
