The Xicheng district government has started providing emergency first-aid training courses and English language courses to the district\'s street guides, the Beijing Daily reported.
Most of the city\'s street guides are aged between 41 and 60 years old. A survey in the Xicheng district revealed a large percentage of the street guides had little first-aid knowledge or foreign language abilities. The government therefore has decided to improve their skills. |
