The Ministry of Industry is testing whether affordable ambulances it is building meet the requirements of a tender put out by hospitals.
\r\n\"We have manufactured two ambulance designs,\" said Dr Toe Naing. \"One is being tested. We expect that one will go into production in about two months\' time. We aim to produce affordable ambulances. “We showed our test-ambulance to medical authorities and listened to their requirements. We tested old cars set to be scrapped to find which could be renovated as useful vehicles.\"
