Bangladesh: Ambulance Services Become Normal at DMCH


Dhaka: Private ambulance service at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), the country’s biggest government hospital, on October 17 became normal following the talks between police and ambulance owners, DMCH police camp in-charge Bachchu Mia said at night.\r\n Earlier on October 16, four people were killed as an ambulance flipped over in front of DMCH emergency creating a disruption in the service.

Bangladesh: Ambulance Owners Threaten Indefinite Strike over Police Harassment

Bangladesh: Interns Shut DMCH Emergency


Internee doctors at Dhaka Medical College Hospital have shut down the main gate of the emergency department as part of their protest to an alleged assault on a fellow intern.\r\nThey also started demonstrating at the emergency area from 9:30pm on 4 February demanding punishment of the relatives of a patient who assaulted a fellow intern, DMCH police camp Sub-Inspector Bachchu Mia has said.
