United Arab Emirates: ADP Presents Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation in UAE University


Abu Dhabi: The Emergency and Public Safety Department at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters presented the idea of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (defibrillator device) during its participation in UAE University's 4th exhibition titled "Health, Nutrition and Fitness 2014" at Al Ain City. The exhibition was launched on May 11 Sunday and will continue until 15th of May. A team from the Emergency and Public Safety Department briefed Dr Ali Rashid Al Noaimi Vice Chancellor of UAE University, the administrative and educational panel, students and visitors about the device and its uses. United Arab Emirates: Al-Futtaim Motors Hands Over 17 Ambulances to the UAE Football Association


Abu Dhabi: Al-Futtaim Motors, the official automotive supplier for the UAE Football Association (UAE FA), On May 12 handed over 17 modified Toyota Hiace vans to be used as ambulances by club and national teams administrated by the association. This hand-over is an extension to Al-Futtaim Motors’ four year partnership with the UAE FA and demonstrates its full support of the association and the role it is playing in garnering the growing nation’s football talents. Al-Futtaim Motors has conducted a number of modifications on the vehicles to convert them into ambulances according to the set standards in the UAE.

United Arab Emirates: One Month Jail for Overtaking on the Hard Shoulder, to be left free for Ambulance

United Arab Emirates: Knowing CPR can Save Lives, but does UAE Law Permit Emergency Aid?


Abu Dhabi: In some countries, including the US and South Africa, doctors may hesitate to treat a patient outside of a hospital because of insurance and legal issues. United Arab Emirates: Awareness Lecture on Firefighting and Safety in Emergency Cases


The Medical Services Department organized an awareness lecture on firefighting and safety in emergency situations, in cooperation with the Emergency and Public Safety Department and the Strategy and Performance Development Department at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ. The lecture, held at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr hotel in Abu Dhabi, was delivered by the lecturer Abdullah Al Harithi from the Emergency and Public Safety Department, and attended by heads of section, branch managers and staff members of the Medical Services Department in Abu Dhabi.
