United Arab Emirates: Resuscitation Machine thatís more effective than Humans Unveiled in Dubai


Dubai: A cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) machine that’s more effective than performing the procedure by hand, and a military vehicle made in the UAE that can be used for humanitarian intervention were just some of the top equipment on display in Dubai. United Arab Emirates: UAE to be HQ of Asian EMS Council


Dubai: The United Arab Emirates, represented by Dubai, has been nominated to be the regional headquarters of the Asian EMS (Emergency Medicine Services) Council in the Middle East.  The Council was founded in 2010 in Singapore to address top issues in EMS, such as undertaking research projects on pre-hospital care and collecting, registering and preserving data relating to the injured, creating opportunities for education and training for EMS physicians and providers, promoting sharing of experience of other EMS systems and collaborating with each other for advancement of EMS systems. United Arab Emirates: Device that Sanitises Viruses in Dubai Ambulances


Ambulance vans of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) will have a built-in modern device that will kill viruses that infect the respiratory system, including the coronavirus. According to the executive director of DCAS, Khalifa Al Darri, an agreement was made with a US company that manufactures the modern device at a recent meeting. United Arab Emirates: First Aid Training for Abu Dhabi Municipality Staff


Abu Dhabi: Municipality employees have been receiving first-aid training in partnership with Abu Dhabi Police. Members of staff were taught cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques and how to use a defibrillator during the sessions. The training is part of plans to improve the overall first-aid knowledge of workers and give them the ability to respond in an emergency situation.
