Azerbaijan: A Turkish Company Delivered 2 Mobile Hospitals to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense


A Turkish manufacturer delivered 2 mobile hospital units to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense. Hospitals are to serve during disasters and other emergency situations with intense care, trauma and surgery units. Speaking to the Anadolu Agency, an official from the manufacturer company said they have previously delivered 4 mobile hospitals to Darfur region of Sudan, Mali, and Ivory Coast.

Azerbaijan: Italian Company to Deliver Helicopters to Azerbaijan next Year to be used for Emergency Medical Services


Baku: The Italian Agusta Westland company will complete the delivery of AW-139 and AW-189 helicopters to Azerbaijan next year said representatives of Agusta Westland Company at Dubai Airshow.  “These helicopters are mainly used for offshore transportations, emergency medical services, search and rescue operations and VIP services,” the company said. According to the company representatives, the helicopters can operate in all weather conditions. The helicopters designed for search and rescue (SAR) missions have been equipped with night vision systems and FLIR cameras.

Azerbaijan: SOCAR Commissions New Pool for Conducting Rescue Trainings


Baku: On December 10 the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) commissioned a pool for conducting rescue trainings at the Training center for protection of human life at sea. The center is part of the Education, Training and Certification Department of SOCAR. The pool's commissioning ceremony was attended by the head of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev, Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov, as well as senior representatives of SOCAR. Bahrain: Hospitals in Bahrain Put on High Alert
