Malaysia: HSA Emergency and Trauma Department Temporarily Closed


The services and operation of the Sultanah Aminah Hospital\'s (HSA) Emergency and Trauma Department have been temporarily suspended from October 28. The department, which is part of the hospital\'s main building, was ordered to be temporarily closed in stages from October 27.\r\n\"The Emergency and Trauma Department of Sultanah Aminah Hospital is closed until notified. If there is an emergency, please go to the nearest government hospital or clinic,\" said a notice posted in front of the department.

Malaysia: Emergency Drill at the Sandakan Airport


Sandakan: Eighteen passengers were \'saved\', 14 \'killed\' and 18 others including flight crew \'sustained injuries\' after an ATR flight from Tawau to Sandakan \'crashed\' near the Sandakan airport here, Wednesday (December 7). Malaysia: I-City Auxiliary Police to be trained as Emergency First Responders


The i-City Shah Alam auxiliary police team will be trained to help the sick and injured while doing their duty of protecting people and property.\r\n“We realise that security issues can also come with health problems. So, we have a few programmes. The auxiliary police will learn to deal with minor injuries, falls, fractures, electrocution, choking, even heart attacks.”

Malaysia: Emergency Support for Dragon Boat Race


Kota Kinabalu: The Fire and Rescue Department will provide emergency aid to the Fourth Sabah FCAS International Dragon Boat Race 2017 organised by The Federation of Chinese Associations Sabah (FCAS) on 13-14 May to ensure the race will proceed safely under the supervision of the rescue team.\r\nFCAS led by its president Datuk Seri Panglima Dr TC Goh and the first vice president cum organising chairlady of the dragon boat race, Datuk Susan Wong, called on Sabah Fire and Rescue Service Department director Nordin B. Pauzand  invited him to attend the Sunset Beach Welcoming Party to be held on 12 May at 6.30pm at Likas Bay.

Malaysia: Malaysian Red Crescent Releases First Ever First Aid Smartphone App


The Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) has notched a milestone 3 August as they proudly released Malaysia\'s First Aid mobile application.The mobile app, which was developed with the support from the International Federation of Red Cross And Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), is the first ever application of its kind in Malaysia.
